Democratic ad dollars in Michigan went towards supporting the Trump-backed GOP primary challenger John Gibbs, resulting in the defeat of freshman Republican Rep. Peter Meijer.

Rep. Peter Meijer, who voted to impeach former President Trump, slammed the Democrats for selling out “any pretense of principle for political expediency.”

A few days ago, Congressman Meijer joined host Jessica Rosenthal to discuss what he called the hypocrisy of the Democrats who meddled in his primary for a marginal advantage in 2022 and why he expected to be a high-value target of Democratic groups.
