I told him that it is his responsibility to find a way to reduce these tensions. The worst possible idea would be to try to build domestic support in Ukraine by escalating hostility between Ukraine and Poland. That is simply unacceptable. I would much rather that our security be built on good relations with our neighbors, including Ukraine. Now we are waiting for a step from Ukraine. There can be no European Union without reconciliation, and there can be no reconciliation without historical truth. Ukraine must understand this.
