Summary
Tensions are heating up as US intelligence warns Russia might stage a provocation in Poland—think drone strikes or fake air attacks—to test NATO’s response. Meanwhile, Ukraine keeps hitting Russian targets hard, and Putin’s betting on outlasting the West despite fuel shortages and heavy losses.
Key Stories
US intel: Russia could fake an attack on Poland to test NATO — US officials say Russia might stage a provocation in Poland, like drone strikes or simulated air attacks, to see how NATO reacts. The goal? Pressure the West and weaken support for Ukraine.
Ukraine strikes Russian airfields, destroying jets and drones — Ukraine hit two Russian airfields in Crimea this week, taking out at least 7 aircraft and drone storage hangars. The attacks show Kyiv’s ability to strike deep behind enemy lines.
Russia’s fuel shortages spark chaos as drone strikes bite — Ukrainian drone strikes are crippling Russian fuel supplies, causing hours-long gas lines and economic headaches for Putin. The attacks are hitting closer to home than ever.
Putin’s war strategy: outlast the West, no matter the cost — Despite losing 8 troops for every Ukrainian soldier, Putin’s convinced time is on his side. He’s doubling down, ignoring domestic fuel shortages and public frustration.
Germany steps up as Europe’s top military backer for Ukraine — Germany’s now the second-biggest European donor to Ukraine, shelling out $15 billion annually for tanks, artillery, and drone production.

BREAKING: 🇩🇪🇺🇦 Officially, Ukraine carried out the attack on Nord Stream and plunged Germany into an energy crisis, according to a German court.
Germany has formally charged Ukrainian national Serhii K., an officer of the Ukrainian army at the time of the incident, with being an accomplice to a war crime over the 2022 Nord Stream Pipeline attack.
The attack destroyed 3 of the 4 pipelines that deliver Russian natural gas to Germany.
The charges include acting as an accomplice in a war crime by carrying out attacks on civilian energy infrastructure, causing an explosion, destroying infrastructure, and disrupting public utilities.
German prosecutors claim that the officer, along with other military personnel, was “acting on behalf of state bodies in Ukraine” and had created the plan to destroy the Nord Stream Pipelines to prevent Russian gas deliveries. Serhii allegedly led the Ukrainian team of up to 7 people and piloted the sailing yacht, which was used to carry out the attack.
German media say the evidence is “overwhelming” and includes phone calls where he incriminated himself in intercepted phone calls, although Serhii has denied involvement.
Serhii was arrested on August 21, 2025, in Italy, was extradited to Germany in November 2025, and has been in pre-trial detention ever since.
This is the first time Germany has brought the Nord Stream case to court.

“Under Trump, America is an inconsistent predator and a bully.”
That’s not an activist. It’s Sir Richard Shirreff—NATO’s former deputy supreme commander, who reported to an American general his whole career.
For 77 years the alliance held on one certainty: America would defend it. “Under Trump, that’s gone,” he says. His answer: start planning to Europeanize NATO now. euromaidanpress.com/2026/07/…

PANIC IN CRIMEA – RUSSIAN BUREAUCRATS FLEE AS TOURISM COLLAPSES! 🚗💨📉
The Russian house of cards in occupied Crimea is fracturing from within. Following a devastating week of Ukrainian precision strikes on airbases and the electrical grid, the Atesh partisan movement is reporting total panic sweeping through the occupation administration.
The parameters of the operational collapse on the peninsula are stark:
📁 Emergency Evacuation Orders: Puppet authorities in Feodosia and Kerch have been issued urgent directives from the “Crimean leadership” to pack up and evacuate high-value state documents and equipment immediately.
🤒 The Bureaucrat “Sickness”: Collaborationist officials with exclusive access to official state fuel reserves have suddenly “fallen ill.” They are taking emergency medical leave and weaponizing their fuel rations to rapidly flee across the border into Russia’s Krasnodar region.
🛑 State of Emergency & Mass Exodus: The illegitimate head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, has been forced to declare a regional state of emergency. Meanwhile, multi-mile traffic gridlocks choke the exits out of Crimea, children’s summer camps are being shuttered, and the vital summer tourist season is effectively dead.
My take:This is the textbook climax of a highly coordinated, multi-stage isolation campaign. As Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk noted, these systematic logistics cuts are part of a grander strategy. First, air defenses were blinded; then refining capacity was torched; next, the power grid was severed—and now, the administrative architecture of the occupation is dissolving. The collaborators know the truth: Russian air defense cannot save them, and retribution is at the doorstep. The clock is ticking, the gas is gone, the rats are jumping ship, and Crimea is slipping from Putin’s grasp! ⏳🦅🇺🇦
