President Zelenskyy: China has, for the first time, reacted firmly and in ultimatum-like terms to statements from Russia about the possible use of nuclear weapons, making it clear that even the idea of using them is unacceptable.
“Some European leaders told me that they had spoken with Chinese representatives. China reacted very seriously, very firmly, and very clearly to statements in the Russian media about the possible use of nuclear weapons.
I think you have heard such voices in the Russian media saying, ‘What if we respond to Ukrainian strikes with nuclear weapons?’
It is very important to emphasize that it was not only the Europeans, not only the United States, but also China. And it seems to me that, for the first time, China reacted very clearly and very firmly. As the leaders told me, China made it clear in ultimatum-like terms that even the idea of using nuclear weapons is unacceptable.”

I hope not.
I had the Foreign Minister of China in Finland for dinner two days ago. We discussed the nuclear issue and the Chinese are very adamant of saying that will not happen.
