Tragically, as of now, two people are confirmed dead. My condolences to their families and loved ones. There are reports of injuries. The Russians struck an ordinary apartment building. Apartments on floors one through seven are on fire. All emergency services – first responders and medics – are on the scene doing everything they can to help people.

There were also attacks on Kherson today, carried out with guided aerial bombs, drones of various types, including FPV drones. Two people were injured and, tragically, one person was killed. My condolences to their loved ones. Odesa and the region also came under attack. The Russians launched a missile strike on an ordinary park. They also attacked the city with jet-powered drones, damaging a four-story residential building and vehicles. Two people were injured. In the region, three ordinary residential houses were damaged.

It is important that our partners continue supporting Ukraine. The adoption of the European Union’s 21st sanctions package is essential, as is support for our defense. It is also crucial that the corps’ requests for weapons and equipment needed to counter the Russians – all we discussed with our military and government officials – be delivered by manufacturers more quickly.
