RT by @mikenov: RT by @mikenov: The Wall Street Journal reports that concerns over dwindling U.S. air defense interceptor stockpiles have become a key factor in the administration’s decision to pause a major escalation against Iran. According to the Journal, Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine warned the White House that declining inventories of Patriot and other interceptors would increase the risk to U.S. forces if large scale operations resumed. The report also says the White House sought to prevent publication of updated government figures on Patriot and Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) interceptor expenditures, arguing their release could harm national security. President
