Germany continues pushing to remove national vetoes and accelerate enlargement. 🔸 Hungary has blocked Ukraine’s accession, aid and sanctions despite support from the other 26 members. 🔸 Greece blocked the sanctions package despite support from the other 26 members 🔸 A Union of more than 30 members cannot require unanimity for every strategic decision. Unanimity must end. A continent facing war, economic stagnation and global competition cannot let one government paralyse hundreds of millions of Europeans.
