🚨 The US Army is moving anti-drone lasers into mass production.
The Army will reportedly buy at least $400 million in AeroVironment LOCUST systems, the Pentagon’s first production deal for a directed-energy counter-drone weapon.
⚡ Using AI-assisted tracking, LOCUST can destroy drones at the speed of light for reportedly under $5 per shot, offering a much cheaper alternative to million-dollar interceptor missiles.
