He also claims Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth “hid” how bad the damage really was. On the other hand, Hegseth says reports of crisis conditions aboard the carrier are “completely misrepresented.” Meanwhile, the Lincoln has reportedly spent over 250 days at sea, with food rationing, broken plumbing and a crew under serious strain.
