Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps says it has completed the third phase of its offensive operation “Vivaldi.” According to corps commander Andrii Biletskyi, Ukrainian forces liberated Nove, Ridkodub and Katerynivka, while also restoring control over Karpivka and Novomykhailivka.

According to the 3rd Army Corps, Ukrainian forces misled the Russians about the direction of the main assault. Russian units shifted reserves toward Shandryholove–Zelena Dolyna, while the main strike was actually focused on Nove.

As a result, the corps says some Russian units found themselves in a difficult position and began surrendering. The Ukrainian side reports more than 250 prisoners of war, including officers, pilots and artillerymen.
