Ukraine’s position is not maximalism. It is the defence of international law after Russia invaded, occupied and tried to redraw borders by force.

A “peace” that rewards occupation is not peace. It is permission for the next war. Ukraine’s refusal to trade land for silence is the line between ending aggression and legitimizing it.
