There is currently a strong proposal from the United States for a mitual stop of strikes on critical infrastructure.
So far, we have seen no genuine desire on Russia’s part to end the war. However, if our American partners can secure a real commitment from Russia to end this war of destruction, and to do so sincerely and for the long term, Ukraine will take its own steps toward de-escalation.
Peace is essential. We need a strong, fair solution, one designed not merely for an election cycle, but for the long haul. We are waiting for specific details from our partners.
