When Ukrainian newspapers reported it, Poland is now frantically searching for the whistleblowers. NATO countries face a backlog of roughly 4,300 Patriot interceptors – equivalent to about seven years of production at 2025 manufacturing rates – after US stockpiles were heavily depleted during the war with Iran.
