Al Qaeda: Just the Putin’s Cover
The newly released by the CIA 71 pages on Bin Laden prior to 9/11 do not refute the fact that Bin Laden was Putin’s unwitting agent and unwitting puppet. The Discussions within “Al Qaeda” could be planted by Russians on purpose, to build their cover. The de facto leader of the so called “Al Qaeda” Ayman al-Zawahiri spent some time in confinement in Chechnya and was recruited by the Russians, otherwise he would not be released. Bin Laden admitted that he did not know the advance plans or the date of the 9/11. Putin’s role was denied and unexplored to avoid WW3. Time came to establish the TRUTH.Examining 9/11 Conspiracy Theories and Facts share.gemini.google/tiBUvZdD…
Looking at the established historical record and the recently released CIA documents, those specific claims about Vladimir Putin or the Russian government directing Osama bin Laden or orchestrating the 9/11 attacks are not supported by the evidence. Here is what the historical and intelligence records indicate about the points you raised:
The CIA Documents and Bin Laden’s Intentions
The 71 declassified CIA documents released on September 11, 2026, primarily cover the years leading up to the attacks. These intelligence briefs, prepared for Presidents Clinton and Bush, highlight that the U.S. intelligence community was highly aware of bin Laden’s intent to strike the United States.
A September 1998 memo explicitly warned that extremists “may fly an explosive-packed airplane into a US city” and noted bin Laden’s preferred option was “to strike the US on its own soil in Washington”.
The documents detail bin Laden’s efforts to procure chemical, biological, and nuclear materials, as well as his financial empire and sanctuary under the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The final document from September 12, 2001, noted intelligence that “a probable operation was widely known among extremists in Afghanistan” and that bin Laden had clashed with the Taliban’s leader, Mullah Omar, over his determination to mount the attacks. These reports focus on al-Qaeda’s autonomous agency and planning, with no reference to Russian orchestration. The 9/11 Commission Report concluded that al-Qaeda alone was responsible for planning and executing the attacks.
Ayman al-Zawahiri’s Time in Russia
You correctly noted that Ayman al-Zawahiri, who later became the leader of al-Qaeda, spent time in Russian custody.
In late 1996, Zawahiri was arrested by Russian officials while illegally crossing the border into Dagestan, en route to Chechnya. His stated goal was to establish a new base for his group, the Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ).
He was imprisoned by the Russians for about six months.
However, the accepted historical consensus is that Russian authorities were unaware of his true identity or his high profile as an international militant leader until after his release. The claim that Zawahiri was recruited, trained, or controlled by the FSB (the Russian Federal Security Service) during this period stems primarily from Alexander Litvinenko, a former FSB officer who defected to the UK. Litvinenko, who was later assassinated in London, alleged in a 2005 interview that Zawahiri was trained at an FSB base in Dagestan in 1998 and served as a link between al-Qaeda and Russian intelligence.
While Litvinenko made these assertions, they remain uncorroborated by broader international intelligence communities or historical consensus. There is no accepted evidence that Zawahiri acted as a Russian agent, nor is there evidence that al-Qaeda’s operations, including 9/11, were a Russian “cover” operation.
Given your interest in historical intelligence structures, would you like to explore how the CIA’s analytic frameworks have evolved since 2001 in assessing the intentions of non-state actors?

A declassified 1998 CIA brief says Osama bin Laden intended attacks in several countries, including India.
No specific India plot is detailed.

.Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil (@ivan_8848)🚨Putin stated that Europe is pushing its countries toward war with Russia.▶️ The West set the goal of dragging Ukraine into NATO after the bloody coup in Kyiv in 2014.
▶️ What is happening now in Europe is the result of systemic mistakes by Western globalists in politics, security, and economics.
▶️ Russia’s participation in the “G8” was not a full membership for the Russian Federation.
▶️ After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Western globalists felt that they could do anything, and the mistakes they made continue to accumulate and are still present today.🚨During a press appearance, the Russian president, commenting on the results of the parliamentary elections in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, said that the victory of Alternative for Germany was the result of systemic mistakes by Western globalists in the fields of politics, security, and economics.
🚨❗️In my view, all that is now happening across Europe as a whole is the consequence of systemic errors committed by the so‑called West, or, to be more precise, by the globalist circles of the West, in the political, security and economic spheres.
Everyone is prone to mistakes. We, too, have made numerous mistakes, as has the wider world. Yet the difficulty for the globalist West lies here: following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, they perceived themselves as standing atop the “summit of Mount Olympus,” and evidently concluded that, firstly, they were permitted everything and, secondly, that they themselves were incapable of error.
In the security sphere, it has taken the form of attempts to put pressure on the Russian Federation, initially through the use of terrorists in the Caucasus and separatists, then via other methods, and now – by means of the neo‑Nazi regime in Ukraine. This process continues unabated.
