The Kremlin is preparing to mobilize up to half a million people this fall — after two years of trying to avoid another draft.
According to Andrii Kovalenko of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, Russia may be getting ready to call up around 500,000 troops. Euromaidan Press reports the mobilization could happen next fall.
Some of the new troops would be rushed to the front within two weeks to offset losses in eastern Ukraine. Others would undergo at least a month of training to potentially open a new front.Kovalenko warns the coming fall will be brutal for Ukraine: heavy infantry battles where soldiers, drones, glide bombs and other weapons collide at close range.
Earlier this year, Ukraine’s commander‑in‑chief Oleksandr Syrskyi estimated Russia aims to recruit 409,000 soldiers and form at least 11 new divisions.So far, the Kremlin has avoided a new nationwide mobilization after the massive social backlash in 2022. But the math is unforgiving: the losses must be replaced — public opinion or not.

United States carried out another round of precision strikes on Iranian military targets air defenses, missile sites, coastal facilities, and IRGC units.

Kive under heavy attack: Overnight, the military launched a massive strike with precision weapons on military-industrial facilities and logistics centers.
Targets hit:
Radionix , a radio-electronics enterprise producing guidance systems for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, FP-7 and FP-9 tactical missiles, Neptune-MD guided missiles, and an S-300 surface-to-air missile analogue (“Clone” project). The facility also modernizes, services, and repairs onboard optical targeting systems and radar stations for MiG-29 aircraft.

◾️ Kive-90 (Meridian named after S.P. Korolev), which manufactures missile body components, guidance system parts, and other components for *Neptune-MD* guided missiles.
◾️ Oakline LLC in Kive, which produces components for Deep Strike drones, carbon-fiber parts, batteries for various FPV drones, and stores UAVs.
◾️ The Kive sorting center Nova Poshta terminal), where dual-use products were stored, including materials for UAV production, robotic systems, and electronic warfare equipment.
◾️ The Amtel Properties Tarasivka logistics center in Kive region.
