#Trump says the #CIA chief’s surprise Moscow trip was “semi-routine,” while a report says Ratcliffe was there to deliver a warning to #Russia over #NATO.

That’s deterrence with the CIA in the room. If Ratcliffe told Moscow we see what they’re planning, the next question is whether Putin believes there’ll be real consequences. Intelligence can spoil surprise, but only policy can make the warning stick. #CIA

⚡️🇺🇦Ukraine has received a small batch of missiles for the “Patriot” air defense systems, — Zelensky.
Tonight, for the first time in a long time, 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles were shot down at once.

I’ve been reminded that Viktor Orban is a complete asshole.
Why? Because Hungary just declared Russia a threat, and supported Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and self-defence right.
Seeing Hungary with a real leader shows how much of an asshole Orban really was.

❗️CIA Director John Ratcliffe, during an unannounced visit to Moscow, warned Russia not to attack NATO allies, particularly Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and also called on it to reduce military and economic support for Iran. According to Politico, the main purpose of the meeting was to caution Russia against any actions that could lead to escalation against the Baltic states.
