The list of summer preparations hasn t exactly been subtle. Drones have been circling our most sensitive sites for more than two years.
The shadow fleet is already parked at strategic choke points. Undersea cables have been mapped down to the last bolt.And now 50–60 drone launch ramps stand ready along the Baltic borders, capable of firing swarms of Geran drones within seconds.
Add to that live exercises targeting power grids and water reservoirs, and the picture becomes painfully clear: the stage is already built.

Zelensky raised this issue during a meeting with Trump at the White House in late July. Specifically, he asked the American president to speak with Musk about allowing Ukrainian drones to use satellite internet for strikes against Russian military installations.
The discussion focused primarily on the possibility of attacking ballistic missile launch infrastructure up to 200 km from Ukraine’s borders.
However, Trump has not made any commitments on this matter, FT sources noted. They added that Musk is also unlikely to agree to Kyiv’s request.
