Warsaw wants the production line located on Polish territory, presenting Poland as a safer manufacturing base. The proposal is intended to address U.S. concerns over establishing such a facility directly in Ukraine, where defense-industrial sites remain exposed to repeated Russian strikes.
🔥 If the proposal moves forward, it could combine Ukrainian wartime demand and experience, Polish industrial capacity and a more secure NATO-based production site with U.S. technology. Expanding PAC-3 production has become increasingly important as demand for high-end air-defense interceptors continues to grow.
