Russia has issued an extraordinary new warning to Britain.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says British military facilities and equipment inside Ukraine AND BEYOND could become targets for Russian retaliation if Ukraine uses British weapons to strike Russian territory.
Moscow has also warned British citizens to consider what it calls the “inevitable catastrophic consequences” of their Government’s actions.
This comes after Britain agreed to provide Ukraine with classified technical information concerning British components of Storm Shadow/SCALP long-range missiles to help Ukraine develop its own production capability.
This is not social-media speculation.
This is an official warning from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
And it comes as Britain is:
rewriting its War Books;
preparing its largest home-defence exercise in decades;
strengthening national resilience planning;
and encouraging households to prepare for serious disruption.
