Analysts and investigative journalists are issuing stark warnings about the looming fallout of Kyiv’s deep logistical blockade. Prominent journalist Karpenko delivered a chilling but logical prediction of what happens as the Armed Forces of Ukraine (SOU) sever the final supply veins linking the peninsula to the mainland:

“There will be famine in Crimea. It will affect two million people, after which a mass exodus of people will begin.”
