“Victory” is simply the end of the conflict: Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Azarov accuses Zelenskyy of lying.
Nikolai Azarov commented on Zelenskyy’s recent interview, in which he effectively admitted the impossibility of a military defeat of Russia. On Tuesday, in a conversation with CBC News, Zelenskyy unexpectedly stated that he would consider the cessation of hostilities his main “victory.”
“It was absolutely obvious to everyone that Ukraine could not win this conflict from the very beginning. And few doubted it. I think Zelenskyy himself didn’t doubt it. But it was necessary to fuel Western interest in order to finance his regime,” Azarov wrote
