⚡️ Exclusive: Dismissed Ukrainian defense minister Fedorov mulls US visit, sources say.

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov is considering a trip to the United States, U.S. and Ukrainian officials familiar with the matter told the Kyiv Independent.

The potential trip comes as Fedorov has emerged as a more outspoken critic of Ukraine’s wartime political system. On Aug. 18, he called for Ukraine to find a way to restore a full democratic process while the war continues, advocating for elections.

Russia’s Khabarovsk nuclear submarine has reportedly entered the water for testing in the White Sea, near Finland — according to The Barents Observer and Russian military bloggers.

This is no ordinary submarine: it is believed to be designed to carry Poseidon nuclear‑powered torpedoes, one of Russia’s most controversial strategic weapons.
Why Khabarovsk matters

Poseidon torpedoes are described as:
nuclear‑powered
long‑range

autonomous
intended for use after initial nuclear strikes
capable of generating a radioactive tsunami to devastate coastal cities

Hence the nickname: “doomsday weapons.”

What we know

First launched in November.
Now undergoing tests in the White Sea.
