BREAKING: Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov called for restoring elections even during a prolonged war, saying Ukraine must find a “legal, safe and realistic mechanism” to resume the democratic process.
He argued that “democracy cannot be held hostage by Russia” and that Putin should not determine when Ukrainians can elect their government.

🇺🇸 The U.S. Navy has now had two destroyer power failures this year.
The latest was the USS Benfold, which lost power in the South China Sea after its generators ran into trouble.
For four days, the crew dealt with problems with toilets, air conditioning, drinking water and kitchen service before the ship was towed to the Philippines.
Another U.S. Navy ship even had to help feed the crew. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
The timing isn’t great either. Benfold was sailing with the USS George Washington strike group, which is preparing to head to the Middle East and relieve the Abraham Lincoln.
The Navy is still investigating what went wrong.
When you need ships in two different parts of the world, having them break down definitely doesn’t help.

Power failures, food shortages, mold, broken toilets, exhausted crews — and a command structure insisting everything is fine.
This isn’t strength. It’s logistical collapse dressed up as bravado.

🇪🇺 NATO SURROUNDS KALININGRAD WITH A MASSIVE AERIAL OPERATION
NATO launched a major aerial operation around Russia’s Kaliningrad region this morning, involving multiple reconnaissance aircraft and numerous fighter jets.
The move comes as Russia has recently moved hypersonic capable warships and a significant volume of military shipments into the Baltic, with possible drone shipments among the cargo.
The Baltic is becoming increasingly active.

🇵🇱🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪 BREAKING | Something unusual is unfolding on NATO’s eastern flank. One of the largest concentrations of allied air power seen over Poland and the Baltic states in recent years is currently underway, sending an unmistakable signal toward Moscow.
Current estimates indicate more than 50 military aircraft are simultaneously airborne, while the real number could be higher because only part of the supporting aviation is operating with active transponders. No exercise of this scale was announced in advance, making the activity resemble a rapid concentration of allied support assets in a potential operational area. It follows political warnings about a possible Russian provocation and several recent aerial incidents along NATO’s eastern flank.
Whether this is primarily deterrence or preparation for a potential defensive response, the message to the Kremlin is difficult to misread.
