Moscow confirmed preparations for three-way talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States
Deputy Kremlin chief of staff Dmitry Peskov said a meeting could take place soon, but “there are no specifics yet”:
“Indeed, that discussion took place. They talked about such a meeting being possible in the near term. That was during the phone call between Putin and Trump. I cannot give you any more specifics for now.”
Zelensky had earlier told reporters that Washington proposed preliminary Ukraine–US–Russia talks in the United Arab Emirates.
