Ukraine’s defense firm Fire Point has unveiled two new ballistic missiles: the FP-7 Pelican and the longer-range FP-9 Krechet.
The Pelican can strike targets up to 200 to 300 kilometers away with a 150-kilogram warhead, offering a lower-cost alternative to Western systems like ATACMS.
The more powerful Krechet reaches nearly 855 kilometers putting Moscow in range and carries an 800-kilogram warhead. Both missiles are high-speed, high-trajectory weapons designed for precision deep strikes. The FP-7 is nearing combat readiness this fall, while the FP-9 is expected to begin flight tests later this year.
Will Ukraine be using these new ballistic missiles extensively against Russia?
