Since early this morning, a massive coordinated drone fleet has been relentlessly pounding the ultra-modern Nizhnekamsk oil refinery. Direct hits on primary processing infrastructure have triggered massive explosions, sending towering plumes of thick black smoke visible for miles across the region. Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that its overnight strike on Kyiv destroyed a Samsung facility.
They claim the site was producing components for Ukraine’s long-range Flamingo cruise missiles.
The announcement came after recent Ukrainian Flamingo strikes on Russian defense plants.
Ukrainian officials reported civilian casualties and damage from the attack but did not confirm the Samsung claim.
