BUDANOV: UKRAINE PAID IN BLOOD FOR THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE ITS OWN FUTURE 🇺🇦🇷🇺
Kyrylo Budanov says Ukraine 🇺🇦 will not accept negotiations conducted through ultimatums, threats or coercion.
“You don’t talk to us with ultimatums. Ukraine has already shown that it will not surrender its national interests under pressure.”
Budanov pointed to Ukraine’s refusal to accept Russia’s 🇷🇺 demands despite the enormous human cost of resistance.
“We refused Russia’s demands, even when the price was incredibly high. We paid with blood, but we defended our right to decide our own future.”
His position on any future negotiations is equally explicit: sovereignty and Ukrainian national interests must form the basis of the process, not pressure imposed from outside.
“Any negotiations must be based on respect, sovereignty and Ukraine’s national interests, not on threats or coercion.”

🇺🇸❗️🇺🇦 NYT: The Trump administration’s Ukraine talks with Russia have expanded to include a multibillion-dollar deal for Lukoil’s international assets.
Putin raised the deal with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during a Sept. 5 Kremlin meeting, presenting it as a way to rebuild U.S.-Russia business ties.
The leading bidder is a group involving Trump donor Todd Boehly, Qatar-based investors with business ties to Kushner, an Abu Dhabi fund linked to Sheikh Tahnoon, and the U.S. government.
There is no indication Kushner or Witkoff would personally profit, but the overlapping business relationships have raised conflict-of-interest concerns.

The U.S just put the future of warfare in the hands of Elon Musk.
The Pentagon appointed the tech billionaire to co-lead ”Project Meridian,” which will map out the future of AI and autonomous military warfare in the country.
Experts say the move is deeply problematic, as Musk has significant conflicts of interest. SpaceX holds a plethora of Pentagon contracts.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth officially launched “Project Meridian” during his State of the Force address, appointing SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Anduril Industries founder Palmer Luckey, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to co-lead the 120-day task force.
Under the oversight of Pentagon technology chief Emil Michael, the group is tasked with determining how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence, autonomy, directed energy, robotics, and biotechnology—will redefine global conflict. The initiative is designed to bypass traditional “creative limitations” to discover and field cutting-edge weapons systems that will shape U.S. combat readiness decades from now, culminating in a public report and a classified annex.
However, the high-profile appointments have immediately ignited intense scrutiny regarding potential conflicts of interest.
Both Musk and Luckey command private tech empires that hold multibillion-dollar active contracts with the federal government, raising ethical questions about defense contractors influencing the Pentagon’s future spending priorities.
Critics argue that placing major political donors and tech monopolists at the helm of military AI research blurs the line between public interest and corporate profit, reinforcing the influence of the modern military-industrial complex.
