Україна готова ділитися з партнерами досвідом ведення сучасної війни. Цей досвід безцінний: нам він вартував ресурсів і крові. Але з країнами, які підтримують Україну з перших днів відбиття повномасштабної агресії, ми готові ділитися всім, що маємо.
Сказав про це на Ризькій конференції під час дискусії на тему «Впровадження українських знань про ведення бойових дій у НАТО». Порадив колегам підходити до питання комплексно. Вже не достатньо мати виробництво дронів – необхідна цілісна система для їх інтеграції та застосування у війську. Як ефективно будувати такі системи, у світі знають лише дві країни – Україна та росія.
Один із ключових форматів обміну досвідом – спільні військові навчання з арміями країн НАТО. Останнім часом українські підрозділи залучаються до них переважно як «умовний противник». Цей формат треба змінювати. Справжній досвід офіцери армій партнерів здобудуть лише у спільних діях пліч-о-пліч із нашими воїнами. Це дасть поштовх для ширшої співпраці між країнами – спільної наукової думки та виробництва зброї.
Мав честь зустрітися з Президентом Латвії Едгарсом Рінкевичсом. Обговорили безпеку в регіоні, шлях до справедливого миру та інтеграцію України до ЄС. Вдячний за чітку позицію: Латвія продовжуватиме непохитну політичну та практичну підтримку України.
З міністром оборони Райвісом Мелнісом обговорили військову допомогу та розвиток ОПК. Наш бойовий досвід посилює Національні збройні сили Латвії, як і їхня зброя – наші підрозділи.
Також провів зустрічі з керівництвом Служби воєнної розвідки і безпеки Латвії та міністерства закордонних справ.
Дякую Латвії за гостинність. Велика подяка латвійському народові за непохитну підтримку України в боротьбі за свободу.
