Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson has dismissed any suggestions that Russia is planning an attack on a NATO country, stating that Moscow is “very well aware” such a move would be an “extremely bad idea.” Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara, he said Sweden sees no signs of direct confrontation but notes increased hybrid threats, including damage to underwater cables and reckless actions by Russia’s “shadow fleet.”
