BIG | 🇩🇪🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️‼️ Germany is reportedly preparing to deepen intelligence cooperation with Ukraine and help Kyiv identify target coordinates for counterstrikes inside Russia, marking a potentially significant expansion of Berlin’s role in the war.
According to Der Spiegel, German and Ukrainian intelligence services are expected to work more closely, including support in locating and identifying targets on Russian territory. The outlet also reports that European intelligence agencies are aware of at least four Russian-directed sabotage networks currently operating inside the European Union.
The two developments are directly connected by the broader logic of the conflict: as Moscow expands hybrid operations inside Europe, Germany is moving toward more active intelligence support for Ukraine’s ability to strike back at the source of Russian military pressure. Berlin’s posture is becoming less reactive and more operational, reflecting a growing belief that deterring Russia may require not only defending Europe, but also enabling Ukraine to impose costs inside Russia itself.
