🚨🇮🇱🇮🇷 Israel is preparing for the possibility of acting against Iran without direct U.S. military participation. The IDF is reportedly keeping independent strike plans ready as Washington increasingly searches for a diplomatic path out of the conflict.

According to Israel’s Channel 13, Israel is preparing for independent military action against Iran if the United States decides against further escalation and moves toward ending its direct involvement in the conflict.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continue to maintain operational plans for strikes against Iranian targets without U.S. participation, ensuring that Israel retains the ability to continue military pressure on Tehran regardless of Washington’s final decision.

The preparations come as the United States increasingly focuses on finding a diplomatic solution, creating the possibility that Washington and Jerusalem could pursue different approaches toward the next phase of the confrontation.

Israel’s position suggests that a U.S.-Iran diplomatic arrangement would not necessarily end the military confrontation. If Jerusalem concludes that Iran continues to pose an unacceptable strategic threat, it is preparing to preserve the option of acting independently.

Why the Mecca Agreement is dead on arrival?

The Mecca Joint Defence Agreement declares that an attack on Turkey, Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan is an attack on all three.

On paper, deterrence. In practice, the clause is hollow.

All three depend on the United States for arms, training and security guarantees. None can afford to trigger a clause that pits them against Washington, NATO or Israel.

Riyadh’s F-15s, Pakistan’s economy, Ankara’s F-16 pipeline and NATO membership all run through American goodwill.

A pact built on Islamic solidarity cannot override that dependency, which means it carries no real weight against the West, against Israel, or by extension against Greece and Cyprus.

Compare that with the Greece-Cyprus-Israel framework, increasingly joined by India: no sweeping automatic-trigger rhetoric, just joint exercises, intelligence sharing, special-forces interoperability and technology transfer, built step by step on interests that actually converge.
