Moscow confirmed preparations for three-way talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States
Deputy Kremlin chief of staff Dmitry Peskov said a meeting could take place soon, but “there are no specifics yet”:
“Indeed, that discussion took place. They talked about such a meeting being possible in the near term. That was during the phone call between Putin and Trump. I cannot give you any more specifics for now.”
Zelensky had earlier told reporters that Washington proposed preliminary Ukraine–US–Russia talks in the United Arab Emirates.
Putin’s special envoy Kirill Dmitriev held a meeting with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The meeting focused on “cooperation between the U.S. and Russia and a peaceful resolution” to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Peskov said it was too early to discuss the results of Dmitriev’s trip to the United States.

Intelligence received by the United States indicates Israel may resume large-scale attack against Iran in the near future.
US intelligence believes Israel is trying to draw Iran into a ‘TRAP’ that would make Iran appear responsible for starting the escalation.
