🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia just fired more missiles at Ukraine in one month than ever before.
July saw 376 missiles launched, more than double June’s count, according to a new AFP analysis. The barrage is scaling up fast.
The ballistic numbers are the part that jumps out. 126 of those were ballistic missiles in July alone. For perspective, Russia fired somewhere between 200 and 300 ballistic missiles across all of 2024. It’s now burning through half a year’s worth in thirty days.
July also brought one of the deadliest strikes on the capital of the war, with 30 people killed in a single July 2 attack on Kyiv.
You don’t fire at this rate unless production has jumped or you’ve decided the stockpile is worth spending now. Whichever it is, Moscow is leaning in harder than ever.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Russian Forces Close to Within less than 5 km of the Last Major Ukrainian Strongholds in Donbas “Sloviansk and Kramatorsk”.
Russian forward assault groups have advanced to approximately 4.7 km from the eastern outskirts of Sloviansk (Slavyansk) and Kramatorsk.
These two cities are among the last major Ukrainian-held urban centers and key parts of the “fortress belt” in the remaining portion of Donbas.
Russian forces continue incremental gains, infiltration, and heavy strikes with artillery, glide bombs, and drones, increasing pressure on Ukrainian defenses.
