JUST IN: 🇷🇺🇩🇪🇪🇺 Lavrov Claims Russia Is Entering A “Real War” With The West
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has issued a dramatic warning, claiming that Russia is now at “the beginning of a real war” with the West.
“This is, by and large, the start of a real war,” Lavrov said, pointing to Germany’s decision to expel Russia’s consulate general in Bonn and close the Russian House in Berlin.
“They want war again,” he added, invoking the period before the Second World War.
Lavrov’s comments come amid sharply escalating tensions between Moscow and Berlin, following allegations that Russia was behind an explosive drone attack targeting Leipzig Airport.
The remarks highlight how rapidly the confrontation between Russia and Western countries is escalating beyond the battlefield in Ukraine.
