🇷🇺Putin’s Next Escalation: A New Mobilization Draws Closer:
Russia categorically denies any new mobilization. Peskov and Putin dismiss the rumors as nonsense and an information attack.
The denials serve a purpose: they avoid admitting the war is going worse than official claims, and they protect turnout and public mood during elections.
Even so, another recruitment drive is likely soon. Monthly losses already outpace new enlistments, volunteer numbers have dropped, and Putin’s military goals have not changed.
Buckle up!

🇷🇺🇪🇺 The situation around the Baltic region is becoming increasingly tense; an escalation is possible.
Belarus has begun a four day military drill near the Suwalki Corridor (along the borders of Poland and Lithuania).
The drills include mechanized and tank battalions.
Over the past week, Russia has increased the number of beds reserved for military casualties in hospitals in the northwest regions–including Leningrad–by 20,000.
Per Polskie Radio, Lithuania is preparing mass evacuation plans for its civilian population at the request of its government.
Several European leaders and governments have issued alarmist statements in the past 24 hours, hinting at a serious possibility of an escalation in Eastern Europe.
Even Switzerland released an announcement.
Putin stated today that he does not want war with Europe and wants cooperation, but if the situation continues (drone attacks on Moscow), Russia will have to respond.
