At an online meeting of representatives of countries supporting Ukraine, Colby called on Kyiv’s allies to “prepare for a very long war,” AP reports.
According to Colby, Europe must be prepared to support Ukraine militarily for the long term.
“We cannot predict when this tragic war will end,” Colby said.
Colby also stated that Ukraine’s supporters “must be prepared for other possible scenarios,” without specifying what he meant.
