EDITORIAL: As US envoys arrive in Kyiv via Moscow, Ukraine owes them no false warmth.
Washington must offer Patriot systems and real sanctions, not treat national survival like a real estate deal.

BIG | 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️‼️ David Petraeus says Ukraine’s deep-strike campaign is pushing Russia’s fuel system into a serious crisis, with refinery damage now spreading into shortages at the pump.
The former CIA director said every Russian refinery within roughly 3,000 kilometers of Ukraine has been struck. He also claimed that fewer than 30% of gas stations in Russia still have fuel available, while the quality of some remaining supplies has deteriorated enough to damage vehicles. Petraeus described the damage caused by Ukrainian strikes as enormous and said the situation for Russia is continuing to worsen.
The important shift is that refinery strikes are no longer only producing local outages. They are beginning to create broader pressure across transport, logistics and the domestic economy, while forcing Moscow to divert more resources into repairs and air defense. If the trend continues, fuel could become one of the clearest ways Ukraine converts long-range strikes into sustained strategic pressure inside Russia.

BREAKING | 🇷🇺❌🇺🇦‼️‼️ A Russian Geran strike drone has hit the central headquarters of Ukraine’s SBU in Kyiv, with Volodymyr Zelensky saying the intended target was the office of SBU chief Poklad.
The drone struck the SBU’s main building on Volodymyrska Street today. Zelensky said the attack was specifically aimed at Poklad’s workplace, turning the strike into a direct attempt to hit the leadership of Ukraine’s security service rather than simply damage government infrastructure.
Kyiv is already preparing a response. Zelensky said he instructed Poklad to develop a “mirror response” against Russia, signaling that Ukraine intends to answer a targeted strike on its security leadership with comparable pressure on Russian command or security structures. The incident therefore risks opening another escalation cycle focused directly on senior state and intelligence institutions.

BIG | 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇺🇦🚀‼️‼️ Britain and France are discussing the creation of local SCALP/Storm Shadow cruise-missile production lines in Ukraine, a move that could significantly expand Kyiv’s long-range strike capacity.
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed establishing production of the long-range missiles inside Ukraine. The British government said the program would use UK technology, while Burnham stated that London has formally approved the transfer of Storm Shadow production technology to Ukraine.
If implemented, this would be a major shift from supplying finished missiles to helping Ukraine build them domestically. Local production would reduce dependence on limited foreign inventories, shorten supply chains and give Kyiv a more sustainable long-range strike capability against Russian military infrastructure over the course of a prolonged war.
